About Me

I'm Alex, a long time educator in the percussive arts. After earning my degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston, I spent subsequent years in Nashville working as both a percussion educator (high school & private instruction) and audio engineer. My goal with this site is to help you make educated decisions about drum gear, specifically for new drummers. I sincerely hope this information is helpful and I look forward to your feedback on ways I can improve this site.
